HACCP – BRC – IFS – ISO 9001:2015 - Organic

Moncaro has adopted a Quality System that covers all winery operational area: research, development, production and sales. A lot number on the bottle makes it possible to trace back to the very grapes and source vineyard for the wine, documenting every step from the vineyard, through production, right to the bottling. Complementing this is its system of total quality and hygiene supervision over every phase and place of production, assuring uncompromised wine stability and purity. Procedures, records and strict quality and sanitary specifications, needed for the certifications, are applied also to vineyards management, evidencing the Organic and Sustainable grape production practices followed by Moncaro. The production site, its ensemble of production procedures, equipment and buildings, has been certified following quality, health and safety specifications of both United Kingdom’s retailers, using BRC standard, and European Community, using IFS standard. Moncaro won the “Grade A” as for the BRC and the “Higher Level” by the IFS. These are the highest-level recognition granted to companies that conform to all of the obligatory as well as voluntary regulations. Furthermore, the IMC has granted Moncaro its “Company Compliance Certificate”, authorising the winery to produce organic wine.
